Board of Directors
The board can consist of three or five directors who are elected by owners. Meet the current board:
Andrea Cooke (Treasurer, 2025–2027) and her family, have lived at West Oaks since 2019. She is a licensed CPA and works as the CFO at Thompson Timber. She enjoys travel, hiking and all things Beaver athletics, especially the women's basketball team.

Angelina Zuelow (Secretary, 2024–2026) moved into the West Oaks community in 2021. She is pursuing a PhD in Biology at Oregon State University. In her free time she enjoys scuba diving, travel and reading. She joined the board to help maintain our beautiful community.

Alli Magee (Director, Position 4, 2025–2027) moved into West Oaks in April 2025 with her then 2-year-old son, Zenith, grateful to find the quiet and beautifully maintained community nestled in the trees. She is a project manager in the registrar's office at Oregon State University and has a background in intercultural relations, education and training, and project management. She is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in instructional design at OSU. Alli and Zenith enjoy the outdoors, live music, and books, and our favorite spot to have a meal is on our condo balcony.

Elizabeth Nielsen (Director, Position 5, 2023–2025) is a longtime Corvallis resident. She recently retired from a 30-year career as an archivist at Oregon State University. She joined the board to advocate for a safe and sustainable community for all West Oaks residents, owners, and our environment.

Mitch Mannino (President, 2026–2028) has been in the West Oaks community since 2015 and served on the board since 2016. In 2023, he completed his PhD at Oregon State University in Nuclear Science and Engineering with a focus on radiation detection for nonproliferation activities. He is currently working for Ziteo Medical improving the resolution for tumor imaging. His hobbies include running, yoga, and rock climbing.

The board has three primary responsibilities: maintaining common areas, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with governing documents. Within each of these categories are many tasks, most of which are facilitated by our community manager.
The Board meets regularly to conduct business. We encourage owners and their representatives to attend and have a voice in how the community is run. Meeting times are always posted on this website as well as announced to owners.

Manager
West Oaks is professionally managed by DLH Community Consulting LLC. Daniel Hough (DLH) discovered our community as a renter in 2011. In 2013 he became an owner and regular board meeting participant. It wasn’t long before Daniel began serving on the board and sharing his passion for development of community in multifamily settings, operational efficiency, financial strength, and environmental sustainability. DLH has two part-time employees and a maintenance shop on site, positioned to quickly meet many common area maintenance needs. DLH comprehensively operates West Oaks at the board’s direction, and consults us on a vision for a more sustainable and engaged future. Daniel is committed to constantly improving West Oaks.
Daniel earned a degree in environmental science from Oregon State University. Professionally, he also spent 20 years working in public sector environmental policy and regulation throughout Oregon. He is passionate about community building, wilderness, outdoor adventuring, and endurance athletics.
